The Advanced Sniper course will enable the already qualified sniper to work in a team. In a sniper team one have the spotter and the sniper. In many cases the spotter is the more experienced of the two allowing the less experienced to take shots under the watchful eye of the more senior of the two. The opposite is also very realistic depending the objective and the mission. The spotter will be armed with a DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle) as well as mission critical equipment. The sniper will have his assault rifle in the ready and only use his bolt action to engage the targets while in the hide. Different options on weaponry will be realistic and mission dependent. Counter sniper functions comes into play during this course.
